Used property saw a 10% increase in sales<\/p><\/div>\n

The number of transferred properties registered in the property registers in the month of September<\/strong> reached 175,374, representing a fall of 2.1% compared to the same month of 2021.<\/p>\n

Looking only at the number of property sales, the number reached 102,987, an annual increase of 0.1%.<\/p>\n

Of the sales registered in September, 88.7% related to urban property, with 11.3% rustic. In the case of urban sales, 62.7% were residential property<\/strong>, according to figures released by the INE<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The number of sales of rural properties decreased by 11.1% in September in the annual rate, while that of urban properties increased by 1.7%. Within the latter, home sales registered an annual increase of 6.9%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

17.5% of the homes transferred by sale in September were new properties, while 82.5% were used.<\/p>\n

The number of operations on new homes<\/a> fell by 7.8% compared to September 2021, while that of used homes rose by 10.7%.<\/p>\n

Results by Autonomous Communities<\/h3>\n

In the month of September, the total number of transferred properties registered in the property registers per 100,000 inhabitants reached its highest values in La Rioja (769), Castilla y Le\u00f3n (749) and Arag\u00f3n (698).<\/p>\n

The Canary Islands (12.0%), Extremadura (7.5%) and La Rioja (4.3%) registered the highest annual variation rates.<\/p>\n

In turn, Community of Navarra (\u201313.3%), the Balearic Islands (\u201312.8%) and Cantabria (\u201312.0%) presented the lowest annual rates.<\/p>\n

Considering registered home sales, the communities with the highest number of transmissions per 100,000 inhabitants are the Valencian Community (226), Andaluc\u00eda (170)<\/strong> and Murcia (169).<\/p>\n

The autonomous communities that presented the highest annual increases in the number of home sales in September were The Canary Islands (35.5%), Extremadura (27.2%) and Arag\u00f3n (18.4%).<\/p>\n

For its part, the number of sales decreased in Community of Navarra (\u201321.9%), Community of Madrid (\u20134.8%) and Andaluc\u00eda (\u20132.2%).<\/p>\n
